SYDNEY, NOVEMBER 4: A new culinary destination has launched at Chatswood Chase, bringing the best of local and global flavours to Sydney’s lower North Shore featuring over 40 fresh food, dining, and daily essentials retailers. Open early to late, 7 days a week, visitors can expect a fusion of the freshest ingredients with elevated dining concepts in a new cutting-edge retail design setting.
Owned and operated by leading retail property group, Vicinity Centres’, the fresh food and dining offer has been engineered to celebrate food and lifestyle – with the reimagined space welcoming many of Sydney’s finest culinary teams, produce suppliers and pop-culture favourites with more signature openings coming online before the end of the year.
From famed speciality butcher Vic’s for the finest cuts of meat, or bok choy from local Asian speciality grocer Tong Li Supermarket, bubble tea from Machi Machi or a selection of salumi from Quattro Deli complemented by elevated dining and grab and go options, Chatswood Chase fresh food and dining caters to every palate.
Signature fresh food experiences now on offer at Chatswood Chase include Vic’s, Astakos Fish Market, Quattro Deli, Yangga Korean Deli, Tong Li Supermarket and Scoop Wholefoods.
Contemporary dining institutions now open include Al Aseel, Abb Air, Dopa Donburi & Dessert, La Viet, and Taka Sushi. Complemented by several of the most on-trend food flavours including Nomu Korean Fried Chicken, Tamon Sushi, Cali Press, Sandoitchi, Dragon Pastry and Happy Lemon.
More signature openings will be introduced before the 2024 festive season kicks off including Sweet Lu, Sir Manong, Fabbrica, Butterboy, Kurtosh, Freo and a premium showcase by fresh food grocer LoSurdo’s. Stylish up-market cafe-restaurant The Mayflower is also due to open in early 2025.
The Chatswood Chase fresh food and dining flagship retailers have worked with leading award-winning interior designers and consultants including Tom Mike Henry, The Plant Society and Landini & Associates – the original designers of Chatswood Chase, to create a contemporary experience that is reflective of the future of retail dining precincts.
The design principles celebrate food with open counter spaces allowing customers to see what is happening with preparation, live cooking, and the action of the chefs in full flight.
The fresh food and dining offer is complemented with a range of everyday essentials including men’s grooming, hair, nail and beauty salons and leading optometry outlets.
Located at the heart of the North Shore and Greater Sydney’s growth corridor, Chatswood Chase is well-connected by major transport networks, including the Metro M1 Northwest Line from Chatswood to Sydenham, which opened in August 2024; and serves as core transport and business hub for Sydney’s extensive North Shore.
