Fighter Movie Review: The bars go higher and higher!

Intensive and engaging; the first of its kind in aerial action dhamaka with its ace action director back with a perfect blend of patriotism, glam and bollywood masala with visually stunning action/sequences, good music and heart touching performances!

While Pathan marks his 1st year of the roar with ‘kursi ki peti bandh lo’, Siddharth Anand delivers yet another; here’s Pathania (Patty) this year with – ‘kursi ki peti khol do’…

‘Salaam Namaste’ to Siddharth for that!

Hrithik is a visual treat to the eyes, a forever sweetheart and a perfect fit for Patty with his cool killer looks and ‘that’ perrrfect smile…haay…our desi Cruise is as sharp and sauve as the firangi version, a fighter pilot, who fights his inner demons as well, to shine as a true hero.

Deepika starts the year with a bang proving the power of women – on and off the screen – jisko dekhne ke liye sir uthana padta hai.

Roles of Bash and Taj played beautifully along with the entire cast, perfect each in their place with special mention to the never ageing Anil Kapoor. Probably he’ll be the same in Fighter-5, with the main lead being 3 generations down by then (lol).The baddies also are well cast especially the notorious hateful main lead.

A good flick with non-preachy but some cool deshbhakti waley one liners with some to be the new cracker dialogs here to stay like IOP…

Hoots, screams, claps and shouts don’t stop and one gets ample opportunity to do these during the 166 minute flick, bringing the desh bhakt in you alive, especially around our national day. Seldom any dull moments, with many goosebump ones and some with genuine deep-feel for how and what our national heroes and their families endure for us; selflessly.

The movie touches the soul on multiple aspects, especially, in the times of skewed diversity and acceptance. A true effort involving every Indian as true patriots.

Recommend to go watch and immerse yourself in a patriotic fever with this visual spectacle. You will surely be delighted!
