9th International Film & Entertainment Festival Australia concludes with a bang!

“The International Film & Entertainment Festival Australia  (IFEFA) is honoured with gratitude to Hon Julia Finn for hosting once again IFEFA Awards evening at The Theatrette of NSW Parliament. Several industry leaders, Minister for the Arts John Graham, Julia Finn MP, Steven Bali MP, Cr Barbara Ward, Durga Owen and Head Jury Jon – Claire Lee,” the organisers of IFEFA said in a media statement.

This year, German actress and model who appears primarily in Indian films of the Hindi language Actress Evelyn SHARMA won The Jury’s Choice Award,

Bollywood Actor Shishir Sharma was awarded the Lifetime Achievement and Pakistani Actor Sajeeruddin Khalifa won the Excellence & Versatile Best International Actor Award at IFEFA closing ceremony .

Australian household name Varun Tiwari was an award-winning debut Actor and philanthropist, who is carving an indelible mark in Australian film industry. He recently starred in, his first feature, Alessandra The Revenge film screened At NSW Parliament.

Best Youth Icon Music Award for Outstanding Artist was given to the 20 year old Ruhani Dillion.

Other incredible short and feature films that received appreciation, including  Alessandra The Revenge for Best film in feature category and QAFAS in short film category.

This year’s feature Films was a highlight of true Multiculturalism.

Besides these, there were a series of exciting activities, such as Fashion Week, Pageantry, Workshops and Women Cricket League (a charitable fundraising).

However, an awards ceremony is not complete unless the hardworking dedicated and volunteers from the Community are appreciated and acknowledged.

The nominations have been recognized for their outstanding contribution over the years.

“IFEFA is dedicated to supporting Global independent films as well as emerging and established filmmakers. With a focus on showcasing multicultural feature films and shorts, which connects like-minded industry professionals and film fanatics from across the globe Year after year,” a media statement read.
