Vasthu columnist receives lifetime award

Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam): Indus Age Vasthu Sastra columnist Dr T. Selva was recognised globally for his exceptional efforts in promoting ancient Indian sciences through his insightful writings and captivating lectures.

His outstanding achievements were celebrated and honoured with a prestigious “Vasthu Sastra Lifetime Achievement Award” during the 34th International Astrological, Vasthu & Tarot Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Sept 30th.

The accolade was conferred upon Dr Selva as a tribute to his unwavering commitment to researching, writing, and sharing ancient Indian wisdom across 25 nations for over 35 years.

He received a gold medal, a trophy and a certificate from All India Legal Aid Forum Secretary General Joydeep Mukherjee, the conference’s chief guest.

The India-based Assam Bangiya Jyotish & Tantra Society and the Naihati Rishi Bankim Kristi Heritage Sanstha co-hosted the conference, which experts from India, Nepal, Vietnam and Malaysia attended.

Assam Bagiya Jyotish & Tantra Society president Dr Subir Kumar Bose said they were impressed by Selva’s unwavering commitment to sharing and selflessly spreading ancient pearls of wisdom worldwide.

As a proficient writer and speaker, he noted that Selva has adeptly simplified intricate ancient secrets and sciences, making them accessible for all to learn and benefit from.

The conference examined the ways and techniques by which the age-old practices of astrology and tantra sciences, handed down through centuries, can provide many advantages and profound insights into the human experience.

Conference organiser Sandip Bose said astrology, through the meticulous examination of an individual’s birth chart, can illuminate facets of their personality, strengths, weaknesses, and life’s purpose.

He underscored that it can serve as a compass for vital life choices and give hope to people.

Dr Selva, the author of the “Vasthu Sastra Guide” book, remarked, “For the world to find harmony, every home must first be at peace, as peace begins where we reside.

“Vasthu principles hold the key to enabling everyone to live in harmony by aligning their homes with the five fundamental elements: ether, fire, water, earth, and air.

“This result-oriented 5,000-year-old science of architecture can be practised in modern times without tearing down walls, extensive renovations, or rebuilding,” he said.
