Australian Mum makes $3.5 million per year running a cleaning business

Mum who lost millions of dollars in the property market downturn succeeds again with a multi million dollar cleaning business.

Australian Mum, Coraline Dufroux, has experienced the highs and lows of financial success. Coraline’s journey began when her side hustle as a property developer took off and she deep dived into managing numerous projects worth $60 million.

Unfortunately, a market downturn and timing challenges led to setbacks in some projects, resulting in her losing everything.

The setbacks she encountered have been instrumental in shaping Coraline’s perspective on wealth-building and have equipped her with invaluable lessons, profound appreciation for wealth preservation, and the importance of establishing sustainable structures. Now, she is on a path of wholesome rebuilding, focused on supporting others seeking to create true wealth, maintain it, and establish lasting financial stability.

Coraline says: “Business is a never ending journey of learning, picking yourself back up and giving yourself pep-talks every other moment. From my 20 years in business, I believe my sustainability has come from mastering the art of pivoting. Industries change, customer expectations evolve and nothing ever stays constant. In my opinion, that is the art of business, staying relevant.”

Currently, Coraline is the driving force behind Innova, a thriving commercial cleaning company that she acquired in 2016. Through her dedication and vision, she has transformed the business from a small operation with just two employees into an enterprise employing over 50 people. Her experiences with bankruptcy and liquidation have taught her resilience, tenacity, financial responsibility, and humility, making her a beacon of inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs. Innova turned over $3.5 million per annum last financial year.

Beyond her business endeavors, Coraline is on a mission to empower women worldwide by enhancing their financial literacy. Her goal is to create a supportive environment where women can confidently discuss money matters, master wealth-building skills, create multiple income streams, and foster an abundance mindset.

Coraline concludes: “You will fail… it is inevitable! And through getting back up, there will also be wins. These are so much more satisfying when you’ve kept giving it a go and didn’t give up. That’s when the high fives and the pats on the back have more meaning.”
