“It was primarily the fans of another contestant who directed these threats towards me. I find it perplexing how someone can switch from adoration to intense animosity. After all, the emotions one expresses are often a reflection of what resides within their own hearts – love begets love, and hatred begets hatred. It’s baffling to contemplate how individuals who harbor affection for one person can harbor such intense enmity towards me.

During the same discussion, Jasmine further shared that the intensity of the animosity during that period had a profound impact on her, causing her to experience depression for the first time in her life. The actress went on to emphasize that she later grasped that those who sent her disturbing rape threats online were essentially faceless individuals without any true identity. Jasmine remarked that her detractors were anonymous figures who lacked the courage to express their sentiments publicly. Expanding on this point, Jasmine expressed:

“So, I couldn’t comprehend this notion, and during that period, I was under considerable stress. It was the first time in my life that I felt depressed. However, I eventually realized that these individuals, who send me threats of such a nature and use words I had never heard before, have no real identity. They are nameless individuals who lack the fortitude or integrity to reveal themselves and openly state, ‘I have commented because I don’t like you.’ If they truly had the courage, they should openly express their opinions.
