One of San Pellegrino Asia’a top 50, Indian accent to pop-up at Tonka, Melbourne this August

Conosh, the India-based innovative food-tech company, is delighted to announce its successful launch in Melbourne, Australia. Following its proven international success in India, Conosh made its way to Australian shores in April 2023, and now it aims to revolutionise the Australian culinary scene with its unique dining experiences.

Conosh will be hosting the famous ‘Indian Accent’ from Delhi, India, one of Asia’s Top 50 restaurants, in an extraordinary pop-up 9-course meal event at the much-loved Melbourne institution, ‘Tonka’ Restaurant. Running from August 11th to August 13th, 2023, Manish Mehrotra, the world-renowned chef and his team, will present this very special experience as part of the celebration of Tonka’s 10th birthday, and Gary Mehigan, Chef, Author and TV Presenter will host each night, chatting to Manish about his menu and life, adding to the excitement and anticipation.

Chef Gary Mehigan expressed his admiration for Chef Manish Mehrotra, stating, “There are a few chefs that make a real difference in changing perceptions and pushing the boundaries of a country’s cuisine. Manish Mehrotra is one of those, and India loves him for it. His food is delicious and taps into far-flung, traditional recipes and ingredients, making them his own. His restaurant, ‘Indian Accent’, is on the international food hit-list as a ‘must-visit when in Delhi.’’’

In April 2023, Conosh teamed up with Mehigan to host the first Chef’s table event in Australia at Scott Pickett’s ‘Matilda 159 Domain’ restaurant in Melbourne, where influential and high-profile guests, including celebrity chefs Matt Preston and Diana Chan, enjoyed an exclusive and private dinner.
