A Mesmerising Night to Remember by Heart & Soul productions

Bollywood entertainment never ceases, and so do Heart & Souls’ heart-wrenching mesmerising shows. On 16th July, Sydney witnessed one of its mega Bollywood events organised by Arun Nanda, under Heart & Soul productions. The legendary singer Arjit Singh rocked more than 8000 Sydney fans, at Aware Super Theatre in the heart of the city.

A jam-packed theatre, at multiple levels, with food kiosks on each and a pre-show concert by the finest singers and musicians of Sydney – Joy Mayank Sanket Ami & Ruhani  were soul appetizers for a flawless show that had yet to begin. The grand show started, dot on time at 6 pm, demonstrating the time commitments of Sydney audience.

The amicable MCs – Jazeel Dimple and Sheila set the precedence of a great show by engaging and involving the audience, even on stage. This momentum was maintained by the superstar Arjit himself that led to a crowd of more than 8000 singing, in synchrony with the Icon. Many such soulful moments were heart throbbing.

The mesmerising voice of Arjit Singh left the audience spellbound & emotional. The iconic singer ensured to give his audience nonstop best performance for 3.5 hours. Catering to his fan base, humble Arjit Singh connected exceptionally well with his audience by waving and eye contact and exchanging cues, making everyone feel a part of the grand concert. Popular numbers like “Agar tum saath do”, “Ashiqi” to “Nayana” were emotive and nostalgic and got everyone singing along. Imbuing a sense of spontaneity for old school, was a medley of evergreen songs from 70s and 80s that had set everyone into nostalgia. Top of the chart was his new release of the day, “Kesariya”. In a nutshell, the show was contemporary and had something for all!!

No musical show is complete without a good band light & sound system. The band comprised exceptional instrumental collaborators and earned equal applause with singer. Arjit Singh cannot be commended any less on this too. He ensured that each of his band members were highlighted and given an equal footage to entrench the audience in their instrumental saga of sounds. There were plethora of modern and old instruments playing interim for audience to dive deep in each one’s uniqueness. This experience was enhanced by theatre’s good acoustics and sound systems. The extravaganza of lights and big screens on the stage proved to be very conducive for audience to view the show seamlessly, irrespective of their seating positions. 

The flawless execution of the show would not have been possible without Heart & Souls’ man behind the show- Arun Nanda. It was his and Sydney fans’ dream come true. Evident from his endeavours is the fact that one must dream with eyes open because only then, would these dreams be, realised for real. He has brought diverse celebrities for Australian crowd, such as Gulzar Sahib and Amit Tandon. In addition to this, Heart Soul promotes many local artists. One of the upcoming shows by Heart & Soul is “Shreya Goshal Live In Concert in Sydney on 8th October 22 at Hillsong Convention Centre Norwest.  The commitment of Heart & Soul to Indian roots of entertainment from India and Australia is commendable.  It is a great nexus of “Karma & Janam Bhoomi”, connecting hearts and souls in essence.
