What are the ten things you should see when you wake up?

The quality of your day is determined by what you see the first thing when you wake up in the morning.

It will be to breathe out, let the light in, listen to music, shower, brush teeth, exercise and drink water for most people.

According to Vasthu Sastra, there is more than just doing routine activities when you wake up.

Most importantly, it would help if you consistently went to bed early and woke up early because it removes stress, improves your immune system, prevents depression, promises long life and regulates a healthy regime.

A primary concern among most individuals is waking up to see, hear or read something bad because it can ruin their thoughts, mood, feelings and mind the whole day.

Before you dive into the value of seeing what is best for you when you wake up, preparation is vital so that you experience the desired results.

When you wake up, you must not see utensils left overnight piled up in your kitchen because it may hurt the energy of prosperity in your home.

Keep your house free from clutters, clean and tidy before you go to bed every night.

Here are ten tips on what you should see when you wake up to have a decent and fruitful day.

Lotus flower: The lotus flower is associated with a symbol of purity, enlightenment, rebirth and self-healing. It contains blissful properties to transform your day. Often used as a decoration and for worship purposes, the beauty of the flower has magical and medicinal properties. Wealthy people decorate their homes with lotus because they consider waking up to the flower protects and boosts their prosperity.

Gold: Seeing the sight of gold jewellery wards-off negative energies from entering your body. It promotes divine consciousness and healing and enhances good fortune, luck, happiness, peace and stability. Gold is a robust metal that originates from the earth and when worn, it eliminates obstacles from black energy and uplifts spiritual benefits.

Sun: Allowing the early morning sun rays to touch your face, hands and body can boost your vitamin D intake, removes fatigue, give a clear vision and improves mental health. Sun is an excellent source of energy and better-quality health.

Ocean: The sea is one of the most magnificent sights gifted by mother nature and wave-watching can reduce anxiety, overthinking and stress levels. Listening to the sounds of the ocean relaxes your brain and instantly calms your body, mind and spirit. It eliminates mental blocks and bounces therapeutic and soothing effects.

Right palm: The ancient tradition of observing the lines in your palms links you to remembering wealth, knowledge and power. Rub the fingertips with your thumbs in a circular soothing rhythm – right clockwise circles and then left anticlockwise rings. 

Rub the palms using fingertips and then turn the right wrist clockwise and the left wrist anticlockwise. Kiss the palm of that side of your body where the flow of breath is more vigorous, then kiss the other palm. (Kissing confers energy and by kissing your palm, you give your best vibrations to your most effective tool for self-expression.) 

Rub both hands together and move the palms slowly over your face, covering your head, shoulders, arms, and legs, creating an energy shield that wards off negative influences for the whole day.

Fox: Fox is known to be a clever and strategic animal. If you see an image of a fox or the animal itself, it is regarded as good luck. You will find your day swift and able to manoeuvre tricky situations.

Mountains: Mountains are seen as the abode of the gods and the connection between the earth and sky. Viewing mountains provides strength, grounding, stability and a mystical link to the cosmic forces. Gazing at the mountains can also remove mental blocks, and improve clarity and you will be able to carry out your tasks confidently and bravely.

Mirror: Seeing your reflection with a smile on your face when you wake up can dispel hostile forces. Mirror has the strength to magnify your look and you must cultivate good thoughts to remain positive throughout the day. Mirrors should be hung on the west wall facing east or south wall facing north to enjoy the desired outcome.

Flame: Gazing at a flame can calm your mind, extinguish your negative thoughts and bring you to focus. Fire is the most potent messenger to the divine and if you want your wish to manifest, light up a flame to send your message in the morning.

Sandalwood: It is known as one of the oldest methods used for healing, calming the mind and clearing your path towards a successful day. Place a piece of sandalwood beside your bed, pick it up, and massage it with your palm when you wake up to protect your aura. You will feel instant ease and relief from the hand exercise.
