What a difference two years make!!!

If March 2020 was the closure of all activities due to the onset of COVID 19 pandemic, March 2022 was celebrated by Little India Harris Park Business Association (LIHPBA)

as coming to age with this endemic and opening up of streets again.

“We had a month full of activities and welcomed every one with colour, lights, performances, music, dance, and delicious food in our Little India and announced opening up of street festivals and celebrations”, Sanjay Deshwal, President LIHPBA.

The events were:

  • Art and Culture Fiesta 2022
  • Colours of the Subcontinent Festival 2021 – conducted now in 22
  • Small Business Month Seminars
  • Stronger Together – Colours and Light Festival 2022

Sanjay Deshwal, extended his gratitude towards the participation and assistance of the below mentioned participants who helped make the events a successful one.

Ably assisted by Jindeep Photography, Harjinder Singh, DJ Ranjith, Bala Subramanium, Harsha Ramachandra, Varuun Tiwwari, Ankur Verma, Friends World TV, Ashwin Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Michael Thangavelu, Vipin Punia, Parag Shah, Patrick Soosay, Hursh Deshwal, and Jai Rao.

Three Talented women brought music, melody, and fashion to Wigram street.

Radhika Rao, Nalini Kumar, and Dr Samiksha Sanghvi kept us all entertained and mesmerized. Kangan Sharma, Dr Neeraj Duggall, Jyoti Rao, and Anu  for keeping stage

lighted up.

Madan Lepecha, Vijay Jogia, Kanan Shah , Holiya Dance Group, Csmart Consultancy, Parai Band, Lebanese drum group,  Hetal Kothari-Bhavsar , Bina Trivedi , Brinda Shah Anu Sanghvi, Maharshi Raval , R Nagaraj, Michael and team called as Mick sharmonix, and the magical taxi all kept audience asking for more.

Sanjay Deshwal also acknowledged the media represented by Harpreet Singh Punjab Times, Dave Sidhu RAABTA, and Meenu Sharma Indus Age.

He further added, “Given the people participation and good turnout in spite of inclement weather conditions, Little India marches ahead and we thank one and all for their participation and support.”
