FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday 13th 2021

The Courage Conference 2021 is coming to the Sofitel Hotel  Brisbane on 6th October 2021 and is being brought to the world by  LeadershipHQ and the Outstanding Leadership Awards.

The incredible Christine Holgate is our KEYNOTE SPEAKER at  the conference, together with an incredible line up of courageous guest speakers, including explorer Dr Gareth Andrews who was recently in The Australian Magazine, Fiona de Jong former CEO  AOC, Mark Richardson, Olympic champion Bella Zanesco – with  more to be announced.

We know today that people around Australia and the globe want  leaders who will lead with courage and kindness. They need to see  and hear stories of courage and inspiration to help them navigate  the challenging times we are facing today. Look at how we all  responded to Christine Holgate in the media and her courage and  recently Ash Barty and her amazing leadership and courage at  Wimbledon.

This is why the team at LeadershipHQ and their speakers,  community and network are championing kind, courageous and  inclusive leadership in the Courage Conference and Leadership  Awards to create change and impact around the world.

Founder and CEO Sonia McDonald quoted recently about the  Conference and said, “more so than ever before we need  courageous leaders and leadership so our generations of today and tomorrow can be inspired, and they can see there is hope.”

The event has impact in more ways than one, with ticket booking  fees supporting disadvantaged indigenous students, thanks to a  partnership with Humanitix.

Indigenous students face many unique challenges that have made  education gaps difficult to close. Those in regional, rural and  remote communities in particular have to contend with  geographic barriers, with only 24% of Indigenous students having  access to a school that offers study to Year 12. This project  provides scholarships to close the gap for indigenous students.

Humanitix is the not-for-profit ticketing platform that gives  events impact, putting booking fees toward closing the education  gap. Humanitix’s programs include meals for disadvantaged  school kids, education programs for girls and scholarships for  indigenous students.

Tickets are now available from $147 through LeadershipHQ  Courage Conference 2021
