Irrfan Khan,one of the finest artist in the industry,is back with his sequel to HINDI MEDIUM,which was well accepted by the audience due to its current and sensitive plot of private schools admission difficulties.

ANGREZI MEDIUM though has a education based background but is more of a deep bonding between a father and a daughter,which has been very well executed by Irrfan and Radhika Madan.Audience will easily connect to the sensitive and dramatic portions of a single father raising her daughter and doing all a father will do to make her daughter happy.Radhika Madan coming from TV background and experience gets full attention.

Deepak dobriyal is excellent as ever and carries his portions very well and so is Ranveer Shorey ,Kiku Sharda and Pankaj Tripathi.

The glamourous presence of Kareena Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia doesn’t make a big impact.Kareena Kapoor has done her role well though didn’t get a meaty one but Dimple is wasted in a small ineffective role,inspite of her being very presentable in this age.

Director Homi Adjania takes full marks for his direction and execution of the story which will leave the audience with teary eyes but also with a smile on their faces.He will surely benefit from this film after his past good work shown in Cocktail,Raabta and Being Cyrus.

Music By Sachin-Jigar is a let down apart from their background score.

London locales have been captured well and so is the transformation of Radhika from a small town girl to a London teenager.

On the whole, ANGREZI MEDIUM backed by a good story,wonderful acting by Irrfan Khan and others,sensitively directed by Homi Adjania will be accepted by middle aged and senior citizens more who will relate themselves with kids doing as per their own wish,when they turn adults.

At the box office, with Irrfan Khan’s comeback after acute illness and goodwill of HINDI MEDIUM,this will have a decent run in theatres backed by family audience.
