HEAL YOUR PAINS

By  Anthony Passarelli ND HD

Over 50% of mature adults suffer from arthritis, arthritis is the number 1 cause of disability in Australia.

I am constantly asked by many of my patients how to treat or manage this condition.

There are literally hundreds of supplements on the market, promising benefits however most have little effects. Below is what I have found work well for my patients.

First reducing inflammatory foods – white flour, diary and gluten products (wheat, barley, oats, rye)

The most important supplement that I recommend is Chicken Cartilage peptides type 2 which through a study performed by Harvard Medical School released in 1993 identified that type II collagen improved all major symptoms of severe arthritis.

There are some amazing Indian anti-inflammatory herbs which are available and have been used in ayurvedic medicine for centuries, they include ginger, Indian frankincense and turmeric.

Why not make an arthritis tea: 1 tspn shaved fresh ginger, 1 tspn turmeric and 1 teabag Boswellia. Let sit for ten minutes then consume daily.

Celery Juice – Juicing 1 glass of celery per day will help reduce your pains and swelling.
