Eminem’s massive show at the MCG last night with 80,708 fans in the audience has broken the attendance record previously held by 2009’s Sound Relief concert. In Australia for his 2019 RAPTURE tour, Eminen has sold a total of 300,000 tickets to his 5 x stadium shows across the country with the tour wrapping up in Perth on Wednesday before heading to New Zealand.
Eminem’s previous Australian visit for 2014’s Rapture Tour thrilled audiences at sold-out stadiums across the country and every seat was filled during his previous Lose Yourself Australian tour in 2011.
One of the leading promoter’s in the world, Paul Dainty now has 3 out of the top 4 selling entertainment attendance records at the MCG with Eminem’s 2019 Rapture tour at # 1, the 2017 Guns N’ Roses tour at # 3 and the 2018 WWE Super Showdown at # 4. TEG Dainty’s last show at the MCG was Bon Jovi in December 2018 which sold 65,000 tickets.
