Actor Paul Torok joins Brides of Asia
Brides of Asia has recently collaborated with former Melbourne actor and model Paul Torok to give a boost to their dramatic stage shows. Brides Of Asia is well known not only as Australia’s most loved and largest multicultural wedding show, but also renowned for supporting up and coming talents and those in the community needing assistance. “It’s time to bring some true Australian spirit into our work culture ‘ says Kareem, founder of this concept who had a chance meeting with Mr Torok and was thrilled to hear when he accepted to join the Brides Of Asia family. Although Kareem, in his younger days has been trained in western music, speech and drama from the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts, he welcomed the new energy and perspective Mr Torok was able to bring. Paul was well known locally and internationally during the early 90s as a leading model, having worked for numerous brands, TV commercials, print ads and feature films. Paul went on to a teaching career where he was Head of Drama at Haileybury. In recent years he has thrown his hand into Real Estate, helping launch a new company in the industry. His resume is varied having directed plays, musicals and events as well as being in front of and behind the camera for independent films and now has fallen in love with The concept of Brides Of Asia. He is excited and honoured to be part of such a great concept of this calibre. His input will boost The events, 6 per year nationally, on many levels. Brides Of Asia will soon be launching their Model Training Academy and Acting School under the guidance of Mr Torok. Paul holds a Degree in drama, dramatic arts and theatre arts and has delivered many successful events. He has worked with the Japanese Education Department and United Nations Chapter in Japan which has given him insight into the Asian market. Having been exposed to the best of both worlds Mr Torok will be shaping the future of Brides Of Asia and the 2019 shows will be beyond expectations. You will have the opportunity to meet Mr Torok at all Brides Of Asia events and if you would like to be a part of our Academy, please register your expression of interest via our Facebook page @bridesofasiaaustralia or alternatively contact us directly on 0413378578.

She holds a degree in Bachelor of Engineering – Industrial Production from MIT Manipal and Masters in Engineering Management from RMIT University Melbourne with High distinctions.
Deepali’s work life – include Branch Manager and Tax Consultant with H&R Block , she’s also an entrepreneur with Let’s Celebrate Life – Event Decorators and Organisers . Her motto in life, “ Life takes you on a journey with many new and unfamiliar stop overs, make sure you make the most of every destination and keep moving forward!”
Let’s Celebrate Life is also the show’s decor partner. Deepali Jha shares how it all began: Hailing from a family of doctors and engineers , business and entrepreneurship was out of the question in my mind. I happen to meet with a very famous astrologer on one of my trips to Melbourne. His words still ring clear in my ears. I had laughed out loud when he read my hand and said that within 6 months, I’m going to start my business and it’s going to do extremely well and will be my full time work! I told him I’m already working as a tax accountant and never intend to start a business.
That was in January. A week later my Birthday Party that I had organised for my son, Aryan at Grand Chancellor got featured in an article. The hotel staff had contacted me to find out official details of the event stylist for the superhero theme party. My husband, Amit suggested that I should register a business name and just go with the flow.
I did start with the thought that maybe I can organise 10 parties a year just for fun.
Little did I know , I got my first contract 30 minutes later, for a wedding in 3 days! Since then Let’s Celebrate Life has been booked out every weekend for 4 years now and future bookings in a year in advance!
It’s immensely intense work, long hours, sleepless night, negligible family life and social life. But I’m thankful to a very supportive husband and understanding child who knows that he can’t ever have a regular weekend because his parents are always busy working. I’m grateful to be blessed with wonderful friends who are always sending positive energy and happy to socialize on weekdays as we are always busy on weekends!
But every effort is worth it, when our clients walk into their venue with a look of admiration , astonishment and happiness. The first word is always – “Wow this is so amazing”
I believe that our work speaks for itself and carries us forward.
We have grown by leaps and bounds because of recommendations from our existing clients.
The essence of Let’s Celebrate Life is to provide, beautiful elegant and unique styling to every memory. And I can proudly say that we have established ourselves as Adelaide’s premier Event Stylists who bring in the wow factor and the status symbol along with it.
The Closet Australia
I am Neetu Virk, a postgraduate in psychology and teaching and work as a Teacher. Fashion designing is out of sheer passion. I firmly believe that the only way to do great work is to love what you do.
I am not formally trained in designing, my passion for rich fabrics and thinking outside the box drives me to get outfits that are class apart. But, client’s personal style is my priority and then customizing it to my designs is the key to get it right. I love to add a contemporary touch to rich vintage designs, hence, exquisite statement outfits.
I believe in personal style more than following trends. Everyone is different and I am not advocate of “one size fits all.” I draw inspiration from vintage styles and nature. I also get inspired by other designers but I always try to create my own instead of blatantly copying.
The Closet Australia stocks Ethnic Indian and Pakistani outfits, Western dresses and gowns, Indo Western outfits and jewelry. I also get outfits customized according to clients taste and preference.
I take pride in being part of Adelaide Chapter of ‘Brides of Asia’ and can’t wait to showcase my collection. It also gives me an opportunity to meet and learn from other talented people associated with this show. I have a long way to go….this is only the beginning.

Manju Kapoor official make up artist for Adelaide show
I am Manju Kapoor, a beauty therapist. I have been a beauty therapist for over 25 years. I started my career in 1989 in New Delhi, India and ran my own salon for 20 years before immigrating to Australia in 2010. Currently, I have my own business called Love Beauty Salon on Henley Beach Road where I have previously done makeup for numerous occasions such as weddings and formal makeup etc. As I am a passionate beauty therapist, events like brides of Asia is a great opportunity for me to expand my knowledge on the latest beauty trends whilst socialising with new clients. Additionally, by attending this event I can get in insight into what other professional artists are offering in the industry. Furthermore, other than leaning new trends, Brides of Asia is a great event to understand and see what clients want from us and how we can satisfy their requirements. From my past experience at the Brides of Asia, I not only had a great experience but it also helped me with my own business and hence why I would like to attend this again this year.
