Designer Vini Bhasin Teejwal, now an established and well known name in fashion fraternity, was only 12 when she would spent hours sketching and designing, designer clothing and apparels. Her passion for creativity in the fashion world was encouraged furthermore by her dotting parents and friends. Gradually, her passion transformed into a well known business set up and V Fashion Revolution Boutique was born. “I have been in this business for over 10 long years; my journey from India to Australia has been overwhelming,” Vini told Indus Age. She thanks God that her brand is becoming popular and that she is soon planning to re-innovate her brand name and launch, “ Vini Bhasin” in the fashion arena.
Already Vini’s collection at V Fashion Revolution Boutique is quite a head turner, with ‘Vini Bhasin’ coming to the industry this beautiful woman is certainly going to create a stir.
The talented designer talks about the varied stylish creation and collection of works at ‘V Fashion Revolution Boutique’, her brand Vini Bhasin, her designs ranging from Indian to western, exclusive designs to on demand outfits for women, men and children, and more.
First of all, tell us about V Fashion Revolution Boutique?
Our brand is basically a mixture of fantastical couture without compromising on the practically. I believe that fashion is not only to make people more beautiful or elegant as well as classy, but also to reassure them, give them a confidence.
What are the varied styles on offer at your boutique?
As all we know style never ends. This brand includes voluminous gowns embellished with traditional embroidery, elegant lehengas, sherwani, elaborated lehengas with crop tops, tube’s or aged velvet bandagalas, dinner jackets for men and many more styles.
Our brand relentlessly strives to support heritage, Indian crafts like Chikenkari, Banarsi, Kashmiri, Bhandni, net And Phulkari re-innovating them with modern elements of design.
Do you provide exclusive designs to customers?
On our customers’ demands we do customise exclusive celebrity designer outfits as per their requirements. And yes, we do have our own creation of style in wedding couture outfits’ known as our own signature designs.
How is your boutique different from others?
I always pay attention to every detail from the outfits to the whole set up. I personally choose colours from my colour palette to draw the design of what the basic outcome of my design would be to make it eye-catching. The fabric, colours and embroideries are my basic homework to give my best to stand out in the market. We create our own designs, colour mix & matching and embroidery.
How has the response of your customers been so far?
My customers have expressed satisfaction and immense praises. Look, you can get anything you want today but the eye for details and intricacies can be understood only by the one who has an eye for it to see. I ensure my designs stand out and ahead, also I make sure the customers get exactly what they want. Their satisfaction can be gauged from the fact that they recommend their friends and others to my boutique.
What is the motto of your brand?
The motto of my brand is to design and intricate details, to research into fabrics, materials and embroidery to showcase best outcome of outfits for fashionholics to the daily basic lifestyle to create more confidence when our clients wear our designs.
Enlighten us about your soon to be launched brand ‘Vini Bhasin’.
Vini Bhasin is a re-invention of V Fashion Revolution Boutique. Just as you have Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre, Sabyasachi , Tarun Tahiliani, and the likes very soon you will have Vini Bhasin. I am confident that my designs will be liked and appreciated by fashionistas. Vini Bhasin would be available in clothing showrooms where fashion lovers can access my products and flaunt in style.
On the personal front, you are a mother of two lovely kids, how do you manage work and home?
Well, I must admit that my family is very cooperative. My husband understands and respects my work. For my two sons, I can just say that they are my little angels. Believe it or not but sometimes they too sit with me and start sketching something or the other (smiles). So, everyone is creative in the family (laughs).My kids are aged 7 and 4 years but they too understand what their mom does.
