You will be now seen in Andhadhun. What motivated you to take up this project?
The script of the film which is incredible, the plot is so complicated, twisted and interesting. Sriram (Raghavan) is one of the directors, I can blindly jump in the project and if he calls me and offers a film , I would happily do it. So, one of the reasons for taking Andhadhun was Sriram and the of course the script is really good.
Tell us more about your character in the film Andhadhun.
I can’t really say much because it’s a thriller, I can just say that I play Ayushmann’s (Khurrana) love interest in the film.
You are sharing screen space with veteran actor Tabu, is there anything that you learned from her?
I think Tabu is an incredible actor. I have grown up watching so much of her work and she has such incredible performances to her kitty. I had a scene with her and I remember while performing I kept looking at her watching what she was doing more than actually being able to perform because I was so engrossed watching her perform. There’s so much lo learn from her.
What do you want the audience to take away from this film?
A lot of thrill and excitement.
You are all over, be it on the mainstream films or web and all your performances are highly appreciated. Do you think this is the best phase of your life?
No, I don’t think so. This is just the beginning. I haven’t done much work yet. I hope I have more stuff to do.
Is there any genre that you would like to try?
Yes, there is one genre, I just want to do good work.
Radhika, now that you are popular, is there anything you miss from the days when you could walk on the streets unnoticed?
I still walk on the streets and I do everything exactly how I used to do. So, nothing really has changed in my life. I go out meet my friends, eat my chaat, go for walks and jogs, I don’t do anything different.
Your advice to young and aspiring actors:
Well, I think just be realistic and understand how this business works and do not have unrealistic ideas that- you wake up and become a star, have more focus on your craft than on popularity.
What do you have to say to your fans in Australia?
I hope that they like Andhadhun. It’s A film that I have looked forward to for the last two years , it is one of the best films, that I am a part of. I hope they like it.
