What attracted you to this fascinating world of knowing what the future unfolds, “the world of astrology”?

I think the divinity chooses you, you cannot choose divinity. It was not in my hands to follow this, I was meant to follow this.

Tell us about any interesting prediction which you made, in recent times.

I do a lot of political predictions, I do it on a personal basis rather than for media or television because sometimes it’s our responsibility to guide people right, when an astrologer predicts, back home, it sways or change people’s opinion, which I don’t like reflecting, somebody who is not deserving, you recommend him, it’s our responsibility that he performs well for people. I don’t like doing open predictions for people even it’s a relationship. Sometimes, I do it for film stars, but I don’t enjoy that anymore. Since past one year I have completely stopped myself. I feel it is not a circus game and a serious responsibility.

What is the most challenging part in astrology?

To be truthful, trustworthy, and the work is done, the suggestions that you have given, write for them but it doesn’t come through you, it flows through you. It’s very difficult to maintain your ego. When people come and thank you. Every time you have to tell yourself, “No it’s not because of me, it’s because of Him”. So transferring all thank yous’, appreciation and compliments., the whole job of reminding yourself, …that is important.

Do you fear, what if your prediction failed?

No, because when I say what I say is because of what vision has been gifted to me, if it doesn’t go right, I owe it to Him, if it’s right, I owe it to Him. I don’t take responsibility of right and wrong, and sometimes when I see potential in people I get pushy also. I push them like their mother. You have to do and leave unto Him.

Astrology adds a ray of hope in people’s lives, how far do you agree with that?

More than hope it’s a ray of faith, faith is above hope, when you are in hope, you are still in doubt, when you are in faith you are unshakable, that’s what our job is.

There are people who do not believe in future predictions, and say that it is not a practical approach so to speak. What do you have to say to them?

Not everybody is known to understand the future part because astrology wasn’t available long years back, for everybody. Only kings and rulers could afford astrologers and they were only in their court. Astrology is not meant for everybody, if it doesn’t follow your way, it is not meant for you.

Today, you stand as the lady of fortune. Whom would you credit for that title bestowed upon you?

One and only God, there is nobody else I have to give credit to. It’s the name the media or the people have given out. Fortune naturally flows through me.

If I suggest something related to money some how, it happens I don’t know but it has.

What is the scope in this field, for aspiring astrologers and what advice would you like to give them?

It is not a calculated field as people think, it is more intuitive. If you are not honest, you try to extract money, never do that, and be honest what you are meant to, as people put you on a pedestal.
