The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony kicks off in just a few hours;athletes and fans are getting ready for 11 days of action-packed sporting events Australia has seen this decade.

The Gold Coast has welcomed over 6600 athletes and team officials from 71 Commonwealth nations over the last few weeks, in preparation for what is the largest integrated sports program in Commonwealth Games history.
