At least five children were killed in a bomb blast Sunday in Pakistan’s northwest tribal region, a media report said.
The blast targeted a house in Baber Mela of Hangu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing two children on the spot and injuring three others who were playing near the house, Xinhua reported citing local media.
Local residents rushed the injured to a hospital where three children succumbed during treatment.
Local residents said the bomb was placed outside the house and exploded with a big bang destroying the wall.
No one has claimed responsibly for the attack.
