HAVE YOUR SAY ON BLACK SPOT NIGHT WORK FOR KISSING POINT ROAD AT DUNDAS
The community is invited to provide feedback on the night work schedule proposed for essential work on Kissing Point Road at Dundas.
Geoff Lee MP, Member for Parramatta said “the NSW Government proposes to fund work between Adderton Road and Kirby Street to improve road safety through the $500 million Black Spot program. “
“Kissing Point Road provides an important connection to the Parramatta CBD from areas such as Dundas, Carlingford and Eastwood,” added Geoff.
Work to be carried out includes installing a wire rope fence in the median and installing new safety kerbing eastbound from Burke Street to Ponds Creek.
Due to high traffic volumes during the day, work hours would be from 8pm to 5am between Sundays and Fridays.
Comment is being sought on whether work should be carried out for five nights per week for 14 weeks or for two nights per week for 35 weeks.
Feedback can be sent to project delivery partner DownerMouchel by Friday 20 May to PO Box 6465 North Ryde NSW 2113 or enquiries_nsw@downermouchel.com.
“All comments will be carefully considered and the community kept informed as the project progresses.
