Singer-actress Hilary Duff has denied rumours that she has separated from her husband Mike Comrie.
Duff has slammed several tabloid stories regarding the end of her three-year marriage to the retired hockey player, reports eonline.com.
“Don’t believe the s–t you read! And don’t buy trash magazines! They are so gross and so negative. They literally make my skin crawl,” she tweeted Wednesday.
While magazines said Duff fell out of love with the ex-athlete, others mentioned that the couple led separate lives and clashed over plans to expand their family.
Recently, Duff’s representative called the breakup “amicable” and added: “They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time.”
“Mike and I are sitting here. We are so appreciative for all of your kindness and well wishes. Not an easy day but we’re getting through it together,” Duff tweeted hours after her representative confirmed their split.
The couple has a son Luca, who is 22 months old.
