The NDMC, the smallest of three civic agencies in the capital, has signed a pact with Transparency International India to maintain high standards of integrity.
NDMC chairman Jalaj Shrivastava said he was confident that the New Delhi Municipal Council “will set an example for other municipal bodies in India by adopting the guidelines and ethical practices” in the agreement.
Shrivastava said in a statement that the Integrity Pact was a tool developed by Transparency International to ensure that all activities and transactions of a body were fair, transparent and corruption free.
