Eight students with engineering background have scored 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT) results declared Tuesday for admission to India’s top B-schools, an official said.
“The eight are all boys with an engineering background,” CAT convenor Rohit Kapoor told IANS.
There are 10 who have scored 99.99 percentile, one of whom is a girl.
“The CAT results will be available for access until Dec 31, 2014 on the CAT website and the candidates are advised to retain a printed copy of their score card,” added Kapoor.
A total of 1,74,000 sat for CAT, conducted at 76 test centres across 40 cities over a 20-day testing window from Oct 16 to Nov 11, 2013.
Candidates sit for the CAT examination to enter the 13 Indian Institutes of Management, the Faculty of Management Studies and a few other institutions.
