Vedic Pratinidhi Sabha and Arya Samaj of Australia Inc. organized a
greeting program and dinner in honour of Prof. Nihal Agar with Prof.
Agar’s well wishers, friends and accomplices on August 2, 2015 evening
at Pennant Hills Community Hall.
Presidents, executives of Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation Australia, India
Club, Sewa International, VHP Australia, HSS, OFBJP, Gujarati Samaj,
Sydney Sanskrit School and other organizations, with around 200 people
attended this celebration to greet Prof. Agar after he was bestowed with
the ‘Order Of Australia’ (AM) by the Australian Govt. The program was
also attended by Hon. Michelle Rowland MP and Senator Sam Dastyari.
As explained in brief by Mr. Bhupat Shah HSS Australia earlier chief,
Mr Bhagwat Chauhan VHP and Director Hindu Council of Australia, Mr
Jayendra Shah, EVF Australia, Hon. Michelle Rowland MP and Mr
Balesh Singh Dhanakar, the contribution of Prof. Agar have been extra
ordinary. He has worked as founding President of Vishva Hindu
Parishad of Australia, Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation and Chairperson of
Hindu Council of Australia and with his uniting efforts and leadership,
these organizations are working very effectively and successfully and
contributing for the good of the community and society as a whole.
According to Prof. Nihal Agar, he had been very fortunate to work with
very dedicated team and he thanked everybody. With everyone’s help
and team effort, a large scale program during Indian Prime Minister Sri
Narendra Modi visit could be possible.
‘Clean India Mission’ was the special announcement explained in detail
by Mr Balesh Singh Dhanakar and community support was requested.
Everybody was entertained by a dance performance by Ritu Singh and
beautiful songs by Mrs Shobha Yadav and Ajoy Ghosh.
Everyone was welcomed and a thanks giving was done by Mr Awindra
Prasad and Mrs Arun Narayan, President Vedic Pratinidhi Sabha and
Arya Samaj of Australia, the program organizers.
