Sydney Thunder Community Rookie Hameed Kherkhah will be part of a bold new strategy in the Mosaic Cricket Association, focusing on grassroots access and opportunities for various multicultural communities.
Kherkhah will conduct a three-day T20 Blast Holiday Camp held at Blacktown International Sportspark from Tuesday July 7, as well as two free come and try sessions on June 21 and July 5.
The Mosaic Cricket Association, managed by Cricket NSW, not only creates a pathway for players but is also a force for positive social change in the community.
Kherkhah believes the initiative will open doors to the ever growing multicultural community of NSW.
“My passion is to pass on my cricket knowledge, but more importantly it’s about mentoring girls and boys on how to be fit, healthy and respectful members of the community,” said Kherkhah
The Blacktown T20 Blast Holiday Camp is the first of many Mosaic initiatives and gives girls and boys the opportunity to play fun games of cricket in an active and social setting.
This camp will be targeted towards boys and girls aged 6-12.
