An Andrews Labor Government supported trade mission to India promoting Victoria’s health, aged care, ICT,
sport and environmental industries began today.
More than 20 Victorian delegates will showcase their services sector expertise during the Victoria Week Trade
Mission to India, which runs until Friday, encouraging business partnerships.
India has the second fastest growing services sector in the world, offering significant opportunities for Victorian
organisations.
The delegation will participate in a comprehensive program of meetings, site visits, industry roundtables and
networking events in Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and New Delhi, before taking part in the Global Exhibition
on Services, which will be launched by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
