The Show is Australia’s biggest celebration of the country coming to the city. We can’t wait to welcome families, kids, even the grandparents to enjoy the value-packed, fun-filled day of entertainment and attractions that only the Show can offer. Where else can you see your favourite farmyard animals, taste award-winning produce, experience the exhilarating carnival and catch a spectacular evening production with fireworks?
Michael Collins, Show Chief Operating Officer, said “with a bumper year of new attractions plus all the favourite Show traditions, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained – the challenge will be deciding what to do first!”
The Show is a spectacular celebration of Australia’s agricultural excellence and has been delighting visitors to Sydney since 1823. Mr Grant said, “Destination NSW and I encourage everyone to get along to this wonderful event,
the NSW Government is proud to support the Sydney Royal Easter Show through our tourism and major events agency”,
Headlining this year will be Xtreme Korruption, featuring the Human Cannonball Lady, Jennifer Schneider, all the way from the United States. Jennifer is one of just 10 human cannonballs in the world and every night of the Show will “wow” the crowds when she propels herself nearly 20 metres into the air, before landing in a net nearly 40 metres away at speeds of more than 60 kilometres per hour.
Mr Collins said,“Of course, the Show is a celebration of the country and for the first time we’ll be showcasing Australia’s sheep industry in the evening spectacular featuring over 150 head of merino sheep, stock handlers, shearers, horses and working sheep dogs every day in Spotless Stadium,”
“We’re really excited to announce a star-studded lineup for our evening entertainment that’s sure to have all Show goers on the edge of their seats,” .
