Victorian chapter of Non Residential Nepalese Association, an organisation representing Nepali diaspora from all around the world, is hosting the biggest Nepali community event ‘Nepal Festival -2014’ at iconic Federation Square, Melbourne on 2nd of November.
This is the third time NRNA Victoria is organising such event since it was first held in 2008. Due to ongoing success of the festival and continued growth of the Nepalese population in Australia, the organiser is optimistic about this year’s program reaching the highest level of success in terms of attendance and significance.
With the theme, ‘Embrace Culture, Enrich Life’- the festival is designed to showcase ‘Nepal’, one of the greatest nation on earth, for its unparalleled natural beauty, rich and glorious cultural heritage and also for its vibrant and colourful traditions.
Through this program Nepalese residing in Victoria also aim tobridge cultures, generations and communities. Nepal festival 2014 will bring wonders of Nepal to you and promises an immersive environment that salutes history embraces globalization and celebrates communities and cultures.
Alongside celebrating Nepalese culture, the event will also focus on linking two countries in the areas of business and trade. As first part of the event “Tourism and Investment Promotional Workshop” will be held on 1st of November followed by the cultural festival the next day.
The business symposium looks to bring many prominent government and private agencies from Nepal and Australia to discuss and explore new investment and trade possibilities between two countries.
