Sydney Shakti Temple is proud to host the 2014 Navaratri festival from September 24 to October 4 at their premises at 271 Old Windsor Road, Old Toongabbie.
Dedicated to the Goddess Durga, Navaratri is a colourful and spiritual nine night, ten-dayfestival, which celebrates each incarnation of the divine Goddess. During this time, devotees are blessed with the strength and power of Mother Durga.
The Temple uniquely celebrates Navaratri as their biggest festival of the year and invites everyone to join for prayer, prasadam and food for each of these nights.
In previous years, hundreds of devotees from far and wide have helped make Navarahri at Sydney Shakti Temple a huge success, and the organisers hope to see all the devotees there this year as they celebrate this auspicious occasion.
