Matthew Mason-Cox med rel: Voting now open – money stuff 2014 people’s choice

7NSW Fair Trading Minister Matthew Mason-Cox today announced voting is open for the 2014 Money Stuff Challenge People’s Choice Award and encouraged everyone to get online and vote for their favourite entry.

Mr Mason-Cox said the Money Stuff Challenge was a consumer education competition with a cash prize pool of up to $14,000.

“It challenges all NSW high school students in years 8-10 to develop fun and creative messages for their peers on consumer issues, including scams and how to manage money and avoid debt,” he said.

“Since 2001, the Money Stuff Challenge has transformed more than 15,000 students into canny consumers.’’

“This year’s competition attracted more than 420 entries from around the state, a 20 per cent increase from 2013.’’
