Ramallah, July 26 (IANS) At least two Palestinian teenagers were killed by Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, officials said Saturday.
A 16-year-old boy was killed in the West Bank city of Bethlehem during violent protests over the Israeli offensive in Gaza, Xinhua reported.
The other teenager was killed during clashes between Israeli soldiers and Palestinian demonstrators in Jenin city.
On Friday, seven Palestinians were killed in the West Bank in separate clashes.
Fierce confrontations erupted Friday and continued till early Saturday between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians who protested the ongoing Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip.
The toll in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli offensive July 8, has escalated to 878, with 5,700 people injured.
On Saturday, Hamas and other Palestinian factions agreed to a 12-hour halt of fighting as proposed by the UN, which starts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
