Back in 1999, Saif Ali Khan first worked with Milan Luthria on the director’s debut film, Kachche Dhaage.
Then, last year, it was reported that the two are set to come together again – after 13 years – for a big budget action potboiler. But the film never went on the floors.
Now, we have been informed that this project has been junked. “After working on the script for a few months, I realised that it was not developing the way I expected it to.
So, we have dropped the project for now. I met Saif a few days ago and we discussed this development. But we are planning to work on another big film [soon],” says Luthria, who recently launched a production house.
It was also reported that the film-maker was going to work on a project with Arjun Kapoor.
But Luthria rubbishes this speculation. “Yes, there have been some reports that I had signed Arjun and Jacqueline Fernandez for a film, but they are not true,” says the director, adding, “Perhaps people know more about the occurrences in my life than I do.
Earlier, it was also reported that Ekta (Kapoor) and I had an argument, and that it got settled later, but these incidents never happened. They were all baseless reports.”
