Recently reports came that the Piggy Chops of the bollywood industry, Priyanka Chopra will soon have a film directed on her life. Aseem Merchant who was allegedly her boyfriend in the former beauty queen’s modeling days is said to plan directing this movie. Reportedly, the film will not only chronicle her modeling days, but also her infamous fallout with her ex-manager Prakash Jaju.
Priyanka Chopra does not seem to be happy with this. Priyanka says, “It would be extremely flattering for me if someone would make a biopic on my life, but this particular situation makes me very angry as I know what my family and I went through during that phase of our lives and what upsets me is that people want to glorify something which was a painful part in my life. I think it’s extremely disturbing.”
Though Aseem, recently claimed that the movie is not being directed on Priyanka Chopra but her ex manager Praksha Jaju. Prakash had claimed that Priyanka owed him a large amount of money. The actress’ late father Ashok Chopra then filed a police complaint against the manager, citing false accusations and threatening of the family members
Sakshi Chaudhary, the star newbie has been zeroed in on to play Priyanka Chopra in a film, based on the National Award winning actress’ infamous fallout with her former secretary Prakash Jaju over finances.
Sakshi, it would be recalled, has been signed by producer Firoz Nadiadwala for a three-film deal. She will be first seen opposite John Abraham in the next installment of the “Hera Pheri: franchise”.
Sakshi would have to go through rigorous workshops for playing the role of Priyanka Chopra in “67 Days”.
“She will play Priyanka after very closely studying of her movies. Sakshi is not a major movie buff. But Aseem Merchant, who is making ’67 Days’, wants Sakshi to adopt Priyanka’s body language and mannerisms,” said a source.
“Priyanka tends to talk very rapidly, letting the sentences; words spill out in a tumble. Sakshi would be speaking like that. There will also be an attempt to recreate some of Priyanka’s early songs and dances from ‘Andaaz’ and ‘Aitraaz’,” said the source.
On being contacted, Sakshi said: “I don’t think I am allowed to talk about this. But yes, I am playing the part in the film that you mention. I guess they thought I was suitable for the part. As far as studying Priyanka goes, I haven’t done much of that so far. I was never star-struck. But she is a good actress. Hopefully, I will play a good actress well.”
