Rajnath compares Modi with Lord Rama

Ranchi, Dec 29 (IANS) BJP president Rajnath Singh Sunday compared the party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi with Lord Rama.

“As Manthara in the Ramayana hatched a conspiracy to prevent Rama from becoming the king of Ayodhya, similarly the Congress is hatching a
conspiracy against Modi,” Rajnath Singh told a public rally here.

“But despite Manthara’s conspiracy, Rama became the king. Similarly, Modi will become the prime minister,” he added to loud cheers.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader added: “Modi will emerge more stronger if more conspiracies are hatched against him.”
