Theatres in Kashmir valley have been shut from many years. But, YRF has reached out to Kashmir valley authorities and government to open at least one cinema there for Hindi Films.
Most of the theaters have been either burnt down or shut down completely. Except from Television and pirated CD’s people living there have no other form of entertainment.
YRF has taken a pioneering step where they have initiated a dialogue to open a theater (if not more) where Hindi films can be showcased, starting with ‘Dhoom 3’.
YRF has taken this step because of the fact that ‘Dhoom 3’ as a film breaks all barriers of age and language, it is a film meant for all. But intention of YRF is to open this cinema hall for every film that releases and it can start with ‘Dhoom 3’.
A source close to YRF said, “It has been almost three months that the dialogue is on. It’s not easy as all theaters there have been burnt down.”
‘Dhoom 3’ will be releasing on coming Friday.
So, let’s wait and watch that will ‘Dhoom 3’ get a release in Kashmir valley?
