Shakun Batra, who had directed ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’, is all set to start his next film, which will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
A source said, “Shakun has had several script narrations with Karan and they’ve finally locked the script. Karan is really impressed and they intend to finalize the cast soon.”
Reportedly, the story will revolve around a dysfunctional family and two brothers, who are writers by profession and stay in a hill station.
“They want to cast Farhan Akhtar and Imran Khan as the brothers but they haven’t been officially approached yet. Karan has asked everyone involved with the project to keep things under wraps as he is planning to make a big announcement soon,” added the source.
Shakun has directed Imran in his film ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ and he was the assistant of Farhan in ‘Don’.
When contacted Batra, he was unavailable for the comment.
